2017 - 2018 Bantam AA Team Staff
Kevin McNeill - Head Coach
My name is Kevin McNeill, this will be my third season as the head coach with the Foothills Bisons Association and I eagerly wait for the season to start. I would like to thank the Foothills Bisons Association for this chance to lead a group of young aspiring athletes this season.
My love for hockey started at a young age. Playing competitively at high levels until the age of 25 has provided me the insight of what it takes to continually develop as a player. Transitioning from player to coach has been very rewarding. I take great pride in the success of the teams at I have previously coached. Not only with the records but also with the number of players who have graduated to the next level and beyond.
As the head coach of the Bantam AA team this coming season, I would like to welcome all players and parents to the 2017- 2018 season. My focus will not only be to develop the hockey and team skills of all players, but also develop life skills that will help assist them throughout their lives. A large part of my coaching philosophy is to teach the rewards that come with hard work, dedication, and teamwork in a positive environment. In these teaching we will become a fast, physical, relentless hockey team. Our practices will be tougher than our games. Every player will be ready for any situation they might encounter during a game. You play like you practice.
See you at the rink.
