A heart-felt message from Tyler Jossinet's mom, Amanda Jossinet.
As minor hockey ends for players there is always much reflection.  Realizing that Ty has spent longer playing hockey, than in school made me realize the impact this sport can have is even greater than we sometimes consider. To say we are proud of Ty is accurate.  We are not proud of him simply for the hockey skills he has learned and developed.  We are proud that hockey has given Ty: resilience, determination, empathy, kindness, teamwork, competitiveness and grace.  His coaches have taught him hockey but in doing so they have created a man who will be able to go forward in life and face whatever is thrown his way.  We owe a gratitude of thanks to the coaches - the good and the bad, the team managers (endless thanks), the opponents, the teammates, the ref (yes the refs), the parents and the fans.  The time and dedication from coaches has help mould these players in great humans.  We will be forever grateful that Ty could be a part of this Foothills organization for the last two years.  Good luck to all the graduating players.
